The Mothers Union

The Mothers’ Union is a Christian organisation attached to the Anglican Church in approx. 78 countries. The branch in Elgin was started in 2001, and now has 36 members with another 22 spread around the Diocese.   It would be good to have members join us from ‘the other side of the River Spey’.  The MU is open to both men and women and we have a male member in Gordon Chapel – can you guess who this is?

The Elgin Branch meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, (apart from August & September), at 2pm. in Holy Trinity Church Hall, Elgin.   We have a wide variety of speakers  on interesting topics, many relevant to the MU commitment to care for families worldwide.

There is an annual Provincial Retreat, usually at Kinnoul Abbey near Perth where we meet members from across Scotland.
